They should have used a proper finned heatsink with no fan. The only thing I don't like on X570 is that due to PCIe4 the chipset consumes more power but that's not the issue the issue is mobo makers opted for active cooling with a tiny fan on an inefficient heatsink and those never last. You can get a cheap 6 core from AMD 3600/X or 8 core 3700X+ and still have 100% guaranteed option to upgrade up to a 16 core monster on the same motherboard.

Oh and windows 10 has the ability to use the scroll wheel to interact with whatever is under the mouse pointer regardless of if it's the active window (so you can scroll a webpage / pdf / adjust volume sliders etc while typing in a different window without switching active windows etc), and also can do the multiple workspaces thing that has been so popular on linux for years.Ĭlick to expand.Exactly, there are better products on market from AMD and even Intel that have replaced 8700K. that dialog still exists elsewhere but now instead you just left click on the speaker and you have a volume slider that responds to the mouse wheel, and a pop up list above it of devices to choose to output to (and you can set different default sound devices for different programs and apps in the settings). previously you'd right click on the speaker and get to the control dialog and change defaults and blah. and while it makes sense it's not the same and people used to windows 7 etc get confused. The biggest problem I've seen people having with 10 is that they are simplifying the way you control it with the new interface.
